Made before his month-long break from music, ENDOR's Novelty Slippers EP explores the extreme fringes of house music, retaining signifiers but robbing them of meaning-as-trope and expectation. Instead, the shell of sonic relations between kick drums, hi-hats and throbbing bass become repopulated and reterritorialized with both new meanings and commentary on the original assemblage.
